The life journey of Vikas Mishra

He believes that the beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you which is rightly said by B.B.King

He is so grateful to share his learning from his beautiful journey. He went to a college and had a startup but he is not a drop out. He believes institutions and academics cannot decide anyone’s future. He believes that our fate is in our hands. He has seen his father struggling and establishing his own business from an early age and due to which they are now settled in Gujarat. His father inspired him and taught him that he needs to be determined, dedicated and disciplined about what he does.

Being an average child he had only two options, whether to continue this normal phase or to go to Kota for IIT-JEE. And, he never wanted to opt an easy way so he chose the latter one but couldn’t make it. So, four years back he was tagged as a failure. He was disappointed with the rat race but deep down he was confident and satisfied because he believed that he gave his 100 percent and he knew that he was an extraordinary child. He cannot allow himself to be called by my batch name or by the marks he obtained. At that age he firmly believed that one day he will be known through his work. Though society tried their best to discourage him but he choose not to listen and did what was best for him simply because it was “His Life” and not theirs.

Then he decided to move to Ambala for his further studies. As he was very ambitious so he started teaching students after college straight for four hours daily. And, as we all know that teaching is not that simple as it seems. It made me him better person, a more patient one, a more passionate one. This patience and passion paid him in his six months internship where he was assigned as a junior engineer. His work was of packing and unpacking things which again tested his patience and passion to do the same work daily for 6 months but always with a new energy.

‎While he was working on a trimex project. He had to discuss many problems which usually required a sitting of ten hours from 8pm to 6am in their office. After one week his seniors noticed his performance and designated him as a trainer, where he had to train 20 engineering students. Through this amazing experience he realized that he has problem solving skills and can work 16-17 hours daily. So, he was not made to do the regular jobs but he can surely be an entrepreneur. There are things known and things unknown and in between there are doors. We just have to realize what kind of doors they are so that we can pull them and open them accordingly to do some really amazing things in our lives. Here, after analyzing his own skills he searched for better ideas. After doing a lot of market survey he came to a conclusion that digital marketing is something which is new and evolving. So, he started reading about it and the more he read it, the more interesting he found it. Finally, he made his mind to pursue his career in digital marketing.

After completing his fifth semester he returned back to Vapi, his hometown where there was some kind of extempore going on in which different companies had come to display their products and services. He shared them his idea, they got convinced and called him the next day in their offices for further discussion. He told them how he will generate leads, how the businesses will grow and how they will be benefited from each other, how he can promote the brand, etc. Now it was this time when he had to convince his parents too. He told his father about his idea and his seriousness towards it so he made him a promise that his studies will not get affected. The first funding he received was from his mother of 500/- Rs. The next two days he went to hundred offices but didn’t get any client. He knew that the journey of struggle has just begun specially because vapi has more of traditional marketing influence on it so things will take little time to work but there something big waiting for him at the end of the destination because market review is good.

‎Then he went back to his college and promoted his own company 360 degree services and there he got his first project and the another one in the next month. And then after three- four months he got a project from UK. He now has a team of his own which is very efficient in their respective work. Also, he has completed my diploma from Mumbai and he is now an official professional digital marketing trainer. He gives online personal classes to students across the globe like Egypt, Canada, Sri Lanka, etc. He give placements to his own batchmates. He has expanded his business to US, UK, Australia and now he is capturing the Indian market.

‎He says that college is the best place to start a startup where everyone can polish their skills and where there are teachers to guide us and correct us. He thinks that people who work in big companies are designated to do the same task over and over again. They follow the same path, the same direction. Unlike them everyone always have a dream, follow your own vision and analyse yourself because no one knows you better than you know yourself. Forget about society, take your power back by not listening to them. He says that today people offer him jobs but he always turn them down because he knows what’s his dream and he will follow his dream always and forever.
